Santa Ynez Valley Chenin Blanc
This wine was made from the old vines fruit grown on the original Firestone family vineyard that was planted in the early ‘70’s. We picked these grapes just as ripeness was near.
Super tight clusters produced a high acid, lean and gripping wine. With proper élevage, some barrel age in neutral French Oak barrels (six months), and a little time, we coaxed this beauty into the bottle. We are very happy with the results. pH = 2.94, TA = 9.1, Alcohol = 11.57%

We set out to make a classic Grenache rosé like the ones we've known and loved from the south of France.
Delicate, light, fruity and dry – this rosé is made from grapes grown at the Alamo Creek Vineyard in the hinterlands of Southern San Luis Obispo County. Pressed immediately after harvest, fermented very cold to preserve the fruit and capture CO2, and bottled early to preserve the freshness and to keep the wine bright. Refreshing spring and summer rose for the pool and other activities.
Bottled in clear glass; it is ever so delicately pink.
