Okay this is the classic wine I set out to produce based on my indoctrination to real white wine by Chris Robles. Great integrated acidity with lemon zest and pear blossom aromas backed by mouthful of an intense fruit cocktail consisting of apples, pears and white peaches, balanced with white minerals, tartness, and a oily persistence. We have taken on another block of Alisos Pinot Gris (thanks to vineyard managers Loren and Wayne Colahan) so our production is now a whopping 430 cases so please drink and sell a little bit more. Unlike the 2006 version this wine is approachable now but will improve with a bit of bottle age. The 2006 is actually drinking pretty good as the acidity has settled in quicker than I thought - so make the target date 2026 rather than 2059 for the target date.
