MARGERUM SYRAH SANTA BARBARA COUNTY UBER
October 11th, 2003
This is a co-fermentation of grapes from five vineyards for 60 days. A wine with super fine tannins and wonderful spicy and berry character. Grilled meat and fruit. So long and intense. Goes on for ages. Didn't make it in 2009 or 2010. Hard not to drink now. Country: United States Vintage: 2007 Score: 94
MARGERUM SAUVIGNON BLANC HAPPY CANYON D
October 11th, 2003
This is the first year of this special cuvee Sauvignon that was barrel fermented in a cigar-shaped 300-liter Ermitage barrel. You can't even note the wood. It's full and incredibly balanced and intense. Love the texture. Mineral and peach turns to slatey and stoney character. Fantastic wine. Drink now. Country: United States Vintage: 2010 Score: 94
