I opened WINE CASK Wine Store and Restaurant in 1981 with my family. WINE CASK quickly became a destination of choice in Santa Barbara among food and wine cognoscenti.
In 2001 I started Margerum Wine Company producing small lots of Santa Barbara County Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris.
After selling the Wine Cask in June of 2007 I now devote all of my energies to the production and promotion Margerum wines and to the raising of my two children – Remy and Evan.
